Job Description

Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee the everyday operations and financial functions of a housing community.

The Assistant Community Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: posting payments, processing account receivables, monitoring bad debt, and meeting budgeted revenues and expenses.
  • Personnel Management: regular onsite attendance, hiring, training, coaching, and developing onsite staff.
  • Administrative Management: managing customer service, maintaining property appearance, and planning for property resources.
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry.
  • Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Frequently required to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another.
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and the like.

Salary Range: $25 per hour to $28 per hour.
