Job Title: Business Analyst (Jira Administrator)
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 - Hybrid 4 days onsite
Pay rate: $35/hr W2 only ***Due to client requirement, only GC holders or USC may apply***
Job Description: Contractor will be the central point for all things JIRA within Orange Apron Media (OAM). This assignment combines technical JIRA administration with cross-functional project orchestration to enable scalable, data-driven marketing execution. Contractor will lead JIRA operations, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless collaboration across marketing, media, and tech teams.
Assignment Responsibilities:
JIRA Administration & Optimization
- Own all aspects of JIRA: project setup, permissions, workflows, custom fields, automation, and integrations (Confluence, Slack, etc.).
- Streamline and evolve JIRA processes to improve team collaboration, visibility, and delivery efficiency.
Project Orchestration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive planning and execution of strategic marketing initiatives (campaigns, programs, events).
- Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables using JIRA as the operational backbone.
Reporting & Communication
- Build and maintain JIRA dashboards and custom reports to monitor KPIs and execution status.
- Deliver insights and updates to leadership and stakeholders to support transparency and data-informed decisions.
Enablement
- Provide JIRA user support and training across teams.
- Document workflows, templates, and best practices to scale platform adoption.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in business, marketing, information systems, or related field
- 2+ years in operations, strategy, or project management, ideally in a marketing or tech-driven environment
- Hands-on JIRA admin experience, ideally in cross-functional Agile settings
- Familiar with Confluence, Miro, and automation/scripting tools (e.g., Groovy, Python)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities
