Job Description

Express Employment Professionals in Tarrytown, NY has an immediate opening with a top local company for CDL Drivers . This role involves transporting goods from distribution centers to various locations, performing safety inspections, and unloading products at customer facilities. Candidates must have prior forklift experience to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver freight to customer locations
• Manage and submit proof of delivery paperwork
• Operate forklifts to assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Check mechanical aspects of assigned vehicles
• Perform all job duties safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Forklift experience (required)
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B)
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience (box trucks, flatbeds, or larger vehicles)
• Driving experience within the 5 NYC boroughs (required)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years)
• No more than 1 at-fault traffic collision within the past 5 years
• Experience completing pre- and post-trip inspections
• Strong customer service and communication skills
