Responsible for the uninterrupted and comfortable operation of the assigned school facility, ensuring that the standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety and security are met.

- Carries out other duties such as:
- Maintains a safe building. This includes cooperating with inspecting agencies, the use of good safety practices, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
- Makes minor repairs to buildings and housekeeping equipment within his or her resources; and as housekeeping duties allow.
- Required to maintain physical condition to be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reports damage and/or maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Assists in setup of school sponsored events as well as events when facility is rented by the public.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with the administration, staff, students, and the public.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
