Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter with strong Revit skills to join our design team.

Position Overview

The Drafter will play a key role in supporting the design and construction process by producing accurate technical drawings and construction documents using Revit. This position works closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that all plans meet company standards, local building codes, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, and layouts using Revit.
• Translate design concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers throughout the design and construction process.
• Update and revise drawings as needed during various project phases.
• Maintain organized and accurate drawing files and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Drafting, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit is required; knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software is a plus.
• Experience in residential construction or custom home design strongly preferred.
• Understanding of building codes, construction methods, and residential design standards.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
