Job Description

Soni is currently looking for an Event Planning Coordinator to support a global Law Firm. The position is being filled on a temporary basis. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in an office. The Coordinator is responsible to provide support to the Firm's events team.

Responsibilities:

• Event Planning & Execution : Lead all aspects of firm-hosted events, including strategy, venue/vendor negotiations, logistics coordination, budget management, communications, and on-site/virtual execution.
• Cross-Department Collaboration : Partner with internal teams (catering, tech, office services, etc.) to ensure seamless event operations and support.
• Marketing & Materials Management : Oversee promotional items and event collateral, ensuring availability and alignment with branding.
• Post-Event & CRM Responsibilities : Conduct post-event analysis, maintain accurate contact data in CRM for business development, and handle additional assigned duties.

Preferred Requirements

• Technical & Professional Requirements : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iManage, CRM tools, and virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom); 2+ years of experience in event planning
• Preferred Background : Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field; experience in professional services environments with legal/law firm industry knowledge.
• Core Competencies : Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and deadline management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure; assertive yet adaptable communication style.
• Communication & Relationship Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build professional relationships across departments; reliable, responsive, and enthusiastic about marketing initiatives.

Compensation: $30-$35/ Hour

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
