We are currently looking for a Temporary Executive Houskeeper for our Hampton Inn Enfield. A relaxing retreat in Enfield , our 106 guest room Hampton Inn by Hilton, is within a two-mile radius of many restaurants, shops and theaters. After riding the roller coasters at Six Flags New England or visiting the Basketball Hall of Fame, our guests take time to recharge in a comfy guest room. MGM Springfield casino is eight miles from our door. The Hampton Inn Enfield is one of the 50 hotels owned and managed by the award winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Role:

This opening is for a set period of time - for approximately 2 months

This position is responsible for the operation and management of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas.

  • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
  • Supervises employees in housekeeping department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws.

Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems

What You Bring:

High School diploma or equivalent and three years experience in housekeeping function in a hotel or similar industry to include two years in a supervisory capacity. Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system. Must have valid drivers license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
