In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our ground operations, ensuring smooth workflows and safe practices while representing our mission to the community. Key Responsibilities Organize and manage ground equipment, including batteries and related hardware, to support daily drone flights. Observe local airspace for potential hazards and promptly report concerns. Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory tracking and preparing packages for dispatch. Follow established protocols to maintain operational safety and regulatory compliance. Serve as a friendly point of contact for community members, answering general questions about our services. Accurately log activities and maintain records using company templates and digital tools. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with documentation and reporting processes. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to detailed procedures. Preferred Experience Experience in Drone operations Exposure to aviation, aerospace, or drone-related operations. Schedule: 6:45 AM–6:00 PM, four-day workweek (Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday). Holiday shifts may be required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and perform frequent bending, reaching, and squatting. Environment: Indoor/outdoor warehouse setting with exposure to varying weather conditions. Travel: Up to 25% as needed. Compliance: Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive duties per FAA guidelines Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Waco, TX.
