Overview Join AIG's Forensic Accounting Unit as a Forensic Analyst IV to play a frontline role that utilizes your accounting expertise in the quantification and measurement of commercial business insurance claims. Responsibilities Utilize accounting principles and techniques to obtain, interpret, record, and analyze data from all business types to assist in the quantification and measurement of commercial business insurance claims. Be mentored within a team and supervisory structure during initial forensic accounting exposure and ongoing development of forensic expertise. Familiarity with Commercial Property and Cyber Coverages and their application. Collaborate with other subject matter experts to apply findings to loss measurement. Compute alternative measurement computations to assist in settlement of claims. Maintain good organizational and communication skills to track and document progression on claims. Be detail oriented, have problem solving skills, be self-motivated, proactive, and forward thinking. Some travel is required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Solid knowledge of accounting and auditing theory and application of accounting and business theory. 3+ years of Insurance Loss Analysis experience preferred. Strong knowledge and working experience with MS Office, including Excel. CPA preferred or prerequisites to sit for the CPA Exam. Strong interpersonal skills, effective time management and organizational skills. Strong analytical ability and the capacity to present conclusions clearly to enable informed decisions by stakeholders. Proficient computer skills. Compensation, Benefits and Workplace The base salary range for this position is $72,500–$92,500 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the applicable incentive plan.
