Proposed Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Approximately 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

Description:

We are a detail-oriented household seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Housekeeping Manager to help keep our apartment polished. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating order, takes pride in meticulous cleaning, and can manage household tasks with consistency and care.

The position involves cleaning, laundry, meal prep, errands, and organization, with an emphasis on maintaining very high standards of cleanliness (e.g., cleaning corners, grout, glassware, and hidden areas with precision). We travel frequently and maintain multiple properties, so reliability, discretion, and trustworthiness are essential.

Our ideal candidate is punctual, positive, and detail-obsessed with a “no task is too small” mindset. You should be comfortable following detailed instructions, asking clarifying questions, and keeping communication open. A great attitude is key — we value someone who is optimistic, team-oriented, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management & Cleaning

  • Perform detailed cleaning of the home with an eye for perfection (corners, grout, glass, behind furniture, etc.).
  • Steam mop and vacuum floors, hand wash delicate dishes, load/unload dishwasher, etc.
  • Maintain an orderly and tidy home environment.
  • Organize closets, storage areas, and household systems.
  • Prepare home for arrival after travel (cleaning, laundry, stocked fridge, fresh produce).
  • Supervise vendors or service providers as needed.
  • Support seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, linens).

Meal Preparation & Kitchen Support

  • Plan and prep simple, healthy meals and snacks (veggie-forward, keto-friendly).
  • Prepare ready-to-eat options such as chopped salads, steamed vegetables, and defrosted proteins.
  • Shop for groceries and manage pantry/fridge inventory.
  • Maintain kitchen tidiness after food prep and polish silverware/glassware.

Laundry & Linen Care

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry with care.
  • Separate and handle delicates, ironing and steaming as needed.
  • Conduct garment inspections for stains and care requirements.
  • Rotate linens, refresh towels, and care for napkins.
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked.

Errands & Household Tasks

  • Run errands including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, gift shopping, and manage returns.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and PO Box pickups.
  • Run to storage unit or assist with seasonal organization.

Vehicle Support

  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and inspections for household vehicles.
  • Assist with SUV errands (fueling, washing, organizing).

Additional Support

  • Help prepare for guests or hospitality needs (e.g., home readiness).
  • Provide occasional assistance with personal tasks or phone calls on behalf of the household.
  • Offer consistency and structure while household members are traveling.

Who You Are:

You're reliable, punctual, and detail-obsessed—someone who takes pride in keeping a home spotless and organized. You follow directions carefully, ask smart questions when needed, and bring a positive, can-do attitude with no drama. You're thorough in your work, from hand-washing dishes to deep-cleaning corners, and no task is too small. Your consistency and great energy make you a trusted, valued presence in the home.
