Job Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administration and a passion for immigration law. This role involves assisting attorneys with various immigration-related cases, conducting interviews, and managing documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards. Duties Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications. Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information and documentation. Manage case files using document management systems to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date. Research relevant immigration laws and regulations, including tribal law regulations. Draft legal documents and correspondence related to immigration cases. Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates on case progress while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other legal professionals on matters related to estate planning, workers compensation law, and securities law as needed. Experience Previous experience in a law office or legal administrative role is preferred. Familiarity with Westlaw or similar legal research tools is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in interviewing clients. Knowledge of immigration processes and regulations is highly desirable.
