An Electrical Technician provides critical support to our production team by maintaining our facilities, laboratories, production machines, production equipment and consistently performing preventative maintenance.
What will you do? Perform a wide variety of duties, including but not limited to: \n - Play an active role in our safety culture.
\n - Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of PLC's, AC/DC Drives, AC/DC motors, instrumentation, control wiring, and electronics.
\n - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical components in contact presses, combustion furnaces, dust collectors, exhaust systems, robotic equipment, AI equipment, conveyor systems, scales, and sorting machines.
\n - Provide electrical support for the facility, production, IT department, and Lab.
\n - Perform preventative maintenance and enter details and documentation in SAP.
\n - Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and/or make modification to automated control systems hardware & software.

What qualifications will make you successful? Education requirements \n - High school diploma or GED
\n - Two (2) years post high school Electrical/Electronic training from a Department of Education accredited school (college) or Department of Labor accredited training organization (apprenticeship) required.
\n - Three (3) years industrial electric/electronic experience preferred.
\n

Skills necessary - Ability to understand complex electrical/electronic equipment, circuits, standards, automation, process controls, and robotic systems.
\n
\n - Ability to understand control wiring, blueprints, NEC, NFPA, ARC Flash, and OSHA regulations.
\n - Able to work safely individually and with others at elevated heights indoors and outdoors.
\n - Ability to operate Windows, Microsoft Office, Teams, SAP, and other application software.
\n - Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and make modifications to various PLC programs.
\n - Ability to adjust and troubleshoot vision/camera systems (Cognex In-Sight, Keyence XG-X Vision Terminal, and Keyence IV-Navigator software).
\n - Experience with industrial robots.
\n - Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and make modifications to HMI's.
