WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Edison, NJ.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift or Night Shift.
\n
• 3x12: 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am.
\n

• Operate electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously monitor patients’ heart activity.

  \n
\n

• Analyze EKG results to establish baselines and identify any abnormalities.

  \n
\n

• Accurately record EKG findings to maintain up-to-date patient records.

  \n
\n

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  \n
\n

• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and ongoing treatment plans before hospital discharge.

  \n
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 2 full years of recent Telemetry RN experience is required.

  \n
\n

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

  \n
\n

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey.

  \n
\n

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n

• Continuing Education Unit (CEU) in Contact Stroke (4 hours) preferred.

  \n
\n

\n
