Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technician/Electrician in Newport Beach, CA. As a Maintenance Technician/Electrician you will: Follow all safety policies and procedures. Complete maintenance orders in accordance with production schedule. Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, motor controls, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and pumps. Inspect and listen to machines to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate repairs. Disassemble machinery to access and repair problem areas. Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine and equipment repair. Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs and maintenance. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Operate forklift and other mobile equipment as required for maintenance tasks and material handling. Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery and systems. Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure optimal functionality of equipment and prevent breakdowns. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols, equipment usage, and workplace conduct. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full time opportunity. Monday thru Friday 6AM - 3PM The ideal candidate will have: Work with and support the maintenance manager. Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and pumps. Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and problem-solving. Ability to operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
