Position Overview We are seeking a remote-based Proofreader AI Trainer to assist in enhancing the linguistic accuracy and contextual awareness of artificial intelligence models. This role involves reviewing and refining AI-generated content for grammatical correctness, tone consistency, clarity, and factual accuracy, particularly in the context of hospitality, culinary, and service-related communications. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented language professionals who are passionate about AI and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for linguistic detail, a solid grasp of English grammar and usage, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Proofread and edit AI-generated content to ensure high-quality language and structure. Train AI models by evaluating and ranking outputs for grammar, coherence, relevance, and tone. Provide clear and actionable feedback on content quality, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies. Annotate language data and categorize content according to guidelines. Collaborate with AI research and product teams to improve model understanding of natural language. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity while handling proprietary information. Required Qualifications Must be a resident of the United States with valid, government-issued identification. Exceptional command of the English language (grammar, punctuation, spelling, and tone). Experience with proofreading, editing, content writing, or linguistics. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within defined guidelines. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across content. Familiarity with AI language tools or linguistic annotation is a plus. Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment for remote collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Background in English, Journalism, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field. Prior experience in training, evaluating, or testing AI language models. Familiarity with hospitality, culinary, or customer service terminology is a strong asset. Comfortable using web-based productivity tools and platforms (Google Workspace, Trello, etc.).
