THE BASICS

Pay : Depending on mechanical experience and qualifications, you can earn $25.00 - $37.00/hour .

Schedule : You work 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm . Weekend work and overtime is available.

REFRIGERATION REPAIR AND INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

You're an essential part of our continued success, handling all kinds of mechanical and electrical jobs to get our clients' commercial equipment in excellent working condition. Motivated to complete impressive work, you diagnose, repair, maintain, and install new and existing refrigeration systems and equipment in locations like warehouses and grocery stores. You comply with safety standards, meet quality expectations, follow blueprints, and maintain detailed documentation of your services.

As you perform mechanical and electrical work, you provide solid customer service, answer clients' questions, and provide timely job updates. You complete preventative maintenance, new installations, complex repairs, and everything in between for equipment like freezers, ice machines, and walk-in coolers. You're continuously learning more about the trade and take pride in making a tangible, lasting impact!

REFRIGERATION REPAIR AND INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS

• Thorough technical knowledge of thermodynamics principles, electrical systems, and refrigeration components
• Expertise with wrenches, screwdrivers, brazing torches, and specialized tools
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to accurately identify problems
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills with an ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms
• Eagerness to learn more, improve your skills, and complete high-quality work
