Job Title: Remote Commercial Title Examiner

Location: Remote (Preferred candidates reside in the state of title expertise)
Contract Duration: 6–9 months with potential for conversion

Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Title Examiner to join the National Production Service Team at a leading title company. This fully remote role involves examining public records to determine the legal condition of commercial properties and compiling findings into title commitments. The examiner will work independently on high-liability projects involving complex commercial assets such as industrial warehouses, hospitals, agricultural land, and large commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough title searches and examine public records to determine property status and legal condition.
• Summarize and interpret recorded documents affecting property titles.
• Establish and verify chain of title for commercial properties of varying complexity.
• Produce complete title reports with curative requirements for issues including probate, trusts, and judicial foreclosures.
• Collaborate with the National Production Service Team on high-liability commercial projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Title Examiner.
• State-specific expertise required in one or more of the following: Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Ohio, Tennessee.
• Proficiency in title searches using legal descriptions and chaining grantor/grantee.
• Strong understanding of Metes and Bounds and Section Land; ability to plot intricate descriptions manually or using tools like Net Deed Plotter.
• Experience with title software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Data Trace.
• Prior experience working with an enterprise-level title company.
