Job Summary and Qualifications

• Participates in all aspects of the Occupational and Employee Health & Safety Program(s). Provides quality care to employees in accordance with corporate/hospital policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment
• Performs pre-employment screenings, annual health screenings and tests, and immunizations
• Serves as the initial source of medical evaluation and reporting for employee work-related illnesses and injuries and assigns employee to appropriate level of care. Provides consultation and first aid and schedules therapy, rehabilitation, and/or work restrictions as needed.
• Serves as case manager for work-related exposure, injury, or illness. Evaluates and investigates all incidents, coordinates medical interventions and work absence/light duty assignments, and conducts follow-up to determine appropriate resolution
• Promotes interdisciplinary approach for the identification, tracking, and resolution of employee health issues
• Maintains all logs, periodic reports, employee files, and databases
• Provides necessary employee health education on wellness initiatives, safe work practices, and occupational health programs
• Maintains all Work Comp and OSHA logs and any other regulatory reporting.
• Assumes accountability for promoting consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”

About this Department:

• Monday - Friday schedule, 8 am - 5 pm

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
  
• (RN) Registered Nurse and Licensed in Missouri
• 2+ Years in Nursing

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
