We are seeking a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. Responsibilities Performs engineering work in various engineering fields within the Environmental Practice for Water and Wastewater Treatment and Infrastructure Practice such as pipelines, pump stations and reservoirs. Works on engineering designs, prepares reports, develops plans, prepares specifications, and cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, permitting and alternative analysis. Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and works through the construction phase on the projects. Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of medium to large sizes of moderately complex nature. Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to civil/environmental engineering field. Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards. Responsible for training and monitoring internal staff. Develops significant relationships with new and existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenance. Supports firm's relationships with client management personnel. Active in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conventions. Travel required when requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering. 10-15 years of wastewater design experience in the field of environmental consulting engineering with an emphasis in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes and treatment plant design. Registration as a Professional Engineer. Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards. Experience designing wastewater treatment plants, including development of conceptual/preliminary designs and detailed design document preparation. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team. Deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints. Experience working with wastewater collection systems and water and reclaimed water transmission/distribution projects. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Pay Range $106,056 to $177,650 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
