Job Description

At UVeye, we're on a mission to redefine vehicle safety and reliability on a global scale. Founded in 2016, we have pioneered the world's first fully automated suite of vehicle inspection systems. At the heart of this innovation lies our advanced AI-centric technology, representing the pinnacle of computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI within the automotive sector.

With over $380M in funding and strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Toyota, Amazon, General Motors, Volvo, and Hertz, our technology is utilized in manufacturing plants, dealerships, wholesale auctions, delivery fleets, security checkpoints, and more. Our growing global team of over 200 employees is committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, encourages teamwork, and strives for excellence.

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer who combines strong hands-on design skills with a proven ability to execute. This position requires someone who can take concepts from idea to delivery with speed and precision, ensuring that solutions are not only well-conceived but also effectively implemented. The ideal candidate will bring a clear product perspective, confidently contributing to discussions and influencing direction rather than simply executing predefined requests. In addition, this role will be instrumental in shaping our design culture and, as the organization grows, will have the opportunity to mentor others and take on broader leadership responsibilities. This role will be onsite in our Teaneck, NJ office.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead end-to-end design activities, from research and user flows to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
  • Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs on time, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, business unit managers & engineering to define requirements and translate them into effective user experiences.
  • Participate in usability testing and field validation to confirm designs meet real-world needs.
  • Evolve and maintain a consistent design system that supports scalability across products.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio of shipped products demonstrating both process and impact.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma (design, prototyping, and collaboration features).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality designs quickly and effectively, with a strong focus on execution.
  • Strong product perspective — able to contribute opinions, challenge assumptions, and advocate for user needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present design decisions and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to structure and manage multiple design initiatives at once

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • Experience in the Automotive market
  • Experience working in startup companies

Benefits we offer:

  • Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision.
  • Company 401k Match.
  • 20 PTO days, Company paid holidays.
  • Career growth as we scale across the US.
