A full-time opportunity is available for a Spanish Teacher at an elementary school setting. This position requires an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with certification in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. The role is a contract for the current school year, providing a structured environment to foster student growth in language acquisition and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Spanish instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
• Develop lesson plans that incorporate language skills development, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Promote cultural awareness and appreciation through classroom activities and materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support overall educational goals and student success.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with families regarding student performance.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with foreign language certification in Spanish.
