Nature & Purpose of Position:Tutor Role Overview Tutors will help students strengthen their skills in mathematics, from developmental math through Calculus I. They will also provide support with the math components of other STEM courses. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:a. 3.0 overall GPAb. Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at SHSU for at least 2 semesters.c. You must have maintained an A or B average in the course you are applying to tutor for.d. Two recommendation letters from faculty/instructors who can discuss your math skills and your ability to work with students.e. MUST have completed a FAFSA for the current academic term. If you have applied for FAFSA, and you qualify for Work Study, you will be asked to accept your Work Study award.
