About this Job

We are pleased to be accepting applications for the very exciting Valet Parking Attendant position to provide service for a contemporary and elevated new hotel in Mammoth, California. This position leads off the guest experience by being the first impression of the hotel, setting the tone for a memorable stay at this world-class skiing and outdoor mountain destination. Starting pay of $18/ hr. plus cash tips. Opportunity for quick advancement and management positions available.

A Day in the Life

• You create relationships with every guest, personalize their experience with your natural and authentic personality, and you go above and beyond to exceed their expectations
• You are constantly on the lookout for ways to wow our guests by anticipating their needs and delivering proactive service
• You proactively greet and assist each guest with a warm smile and friendly welcome
• You meet and exceed all of the service standards outlined by the company
• You park and retrieve guest vehicles, and assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and personal items from vehicles.
• You follow established systems, procedures, and policies to ensure a safe and secure work environment and an organized and efficient workplace
• You maintain a clean, spotless work area and take pride in your work place
• You are precise in handling any parking fee transactions and ensuring all revenue is properly accounted for
• You consider yourself very responsible, dependable and have a solid track record of attendance at previous jobs

We are currently hiring for multiple positions in preparation for our December opening! We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated team members to start in October and November for the following employment types:

• Full-Time, Year-Round
• Part-Time, Year-Round
• Full-Time, Seasonal
• Part-Time, Seasonal

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Be a positive & enthusiastic team player
• Ability to thrive in both fast-paced and slow-paced work environments
• Excellent written and organizational skills
• Experience with manual transmission - Preferred

Requirements

All candidates for the Valet Parking position must:

• Be at least 19 years of age
• Have a clean cut and professional appearance
• Have a good DMV record
• Have a valid California Driver's License with proof of insurance
• Be a people person with a passion to serve
• Be physically fit and be able to run long distances and/or stand for sustained periods of time
