W2 Overview We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining business-critical software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and can deliver technical solutions that support complex business operations on a global scale. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain new and existing software applications in alignment with business requirements. Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to conceptualize and enhance applications. Analyze current business systems, processes, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement. Define and document requirements, specifications, and deliverables for development projects. Create and implement project plans, including scope, timeline, and execution strategy. Write clean, maintainable code while following best practices for performance, security, and scalability. Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality, accuracy, and performance of applications. Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence. Work with a variety of file formats (XML, fixed-width, delimited) to support data integration. Generate reports and metrics to track development progress and application performance. Partner with third-party vendors as needed to integrate or resolve system issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3-5 years of professional software development experience. Hands-on experience with: Back-End: .NET Core, C#, MVC, Microservices, REST APIs, AWS Cloud Front-End: ReactJS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, CSS Database: SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio (2019/2022). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced Excel). Knowledge of data mapping and working alongside project managers/developers. Ability to work with multiple file formats for system integrations. Ability to work standard Central Time hours. Preferred Qualifications Experience with VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, VBScript, and IIS. Background in the hospitality or related industries (preferred but not required). AWS certification strongly preferred. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Confluence.
