Shift Shift : Monday- Friday Full-time 8:00am-5:00pm Job Location Job Location : AdventHealth Parker 9395 Crown Crest Boulevard Parker, CO 80138 The role you will contribute The Director, Clinical Informatics serves as a key operational and clinical liaison within AdventHealth's informatics structure, reporting to the Executive Director, Clinical Informatics. This role is responsible for the implementation, optimization, and adoption of clinical information systems that support safe, high-quality, and clinician efficient care across the continuum of care - from inpatient, virtual care, ambulatory and post-acute settings. Working closely with clinical and multidisciplinary teams, IT partners, and operational leaders, the Director facilitates system improvements, end-user engagement, and workflow alignment to advance organizational priorities in clinical excellence, patient safety, clinician satisfaction, efficiency, and well-being, and digital enablement. The value you will bring to the team Support execution of the enterprise-wide informatics strategy in alignment with the Executive Director, CNIO, and CMIO vision. Lead project teams and regional informatics advocates in the implementation and optimization of clinical systems, including EHR workflows, decision support tools, and documentation improvements. Coordinate day-to-day activities of the clinical informatics function within assigned service lines, regions, or facilities. Identify workflow inefficiencies and coordinate with clinical and IT partners to implement data-driven solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and clinician experience. Collaborate with nursing education, clinical operations, and IT training teams to ensure successful training, onboarding, and system proficiency for clinicians. Promote ongoing user engagement through rounding, feedback loops, tip sheets, peer support models, and just-in-time learning. Drive adoption of new technologies, upgrades, and features through structured change management and communication strategies. Partner with operational leaders and informatics teams across ambulatory clinics, acute care, procedural areas, and virtual care to ensure system solutions are integrated and support care transitions. The expertise and experiences you\'ll need to succeed Bachelor's of Nursing degree in nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline Required 5 Work Experience Required 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT. Demonstrated understanding of both inpatient and ambulatory clinical workflows. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline Preferred Experience leading clinical optimization or EHR implementation projects (Epic preferred).
