This is a part-time, contract role with an indefinite term, designed to flex around workflow needs . Role: Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications Collaborate with attorneys on prosecution strategy Handle a steady stream of high-quality patent work, particularly in mechanical and general engineering subject matter What We're Looking For: Minimum 3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution Admitted to Practice in Florida Engineering background preferred (but not required) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Florida residency is a plus, but not a requirement Why This Role: Flexible hours and workload Work remotely or in a hybrid capacity Engage in meaningful, substantive prosecution work at a reputable firm Join a collegial, down-to-earth team Our client has offices across Florida including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Tallahassee and Orlando. Candidates outside Florida will be considered although a Florida License is much preferred. Compensation will be dependent on experience.
