Job Description
POSITION: Phlebotomist
LOCATION: VA White River Junction. 163 Veterans Drive, White River Junction, VT 05009
JOB DETAILS: Phlebotomists to provide services necessary to perform onsite phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility. The standard of care shall be of the quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-T hree (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience)
-BLS
- US Citizens or Green Card
-I ncluding the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently
- The Contractor shall be responsible for providing coverage to the VA during periods of vacancies of the Contractor’s personnel due to sick leave, personal leave, vacations, and additional coverage as required.
SCHEDULE:
Dayshift6:00A - 2:30P 6:30A - 3:00P 7:00A - 3:30P 7:30A - 4:00P 8:00A - 4:30P
- Shifts may vary to accommodate the dayshifts listed above based on the needs of the Laboratory.
- The employee may also be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. However, on call or standby duties will NOT be required.

TRAVEL: No travel
COMPENSATIONS: $20.00 per hour
